SHERRY LYNN COOPER, 67 of Whiteford, MD, died on Friday October 15, 2021 in her home. She was the beloved wife of Clifford D. Cooper, and they had shared 49 years of marriage.

Born on January 2, 1954 in Baltimore, MD, Sherry was one of two children born to the late Howard D. Coffman and Lula Brixteen (Cutlip) Coffman and a graduate of Sparrows Point High School. Sherry was of the Methodist faith and worshipped at several churches during her lifetime. She worked as an import/export specialist for E.H. Harms for 10 years. A substitute teacher, Sherry especially enjoyed working with the special needs children as well as one on one with students. Her family remarked that she had a kind caring spirit and was an exceptional cook and baker that she had passed onto her children. She adored her grandchildren and was known to love birds, especially cardinals.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Coffman.

Services will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA with a viewing from 10 – 11 a.m. followed immediately with the funeral service. Gloria Wolff, Spiritual Support Specialist will officiate with interment in Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, MD.
