Shiela M. Smith, 77, of Delta, Pennsylvania, passed away at her home on April 10, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and the faith that guided her life.
Born on March 17, 1949, Shiela was the daughter of the late James Arthur Hedrick and Helen Marie Hedrick (née Snyder). She was also preceded in death by her brother, James Arthur Hedrick.
Shiela shared a beautiful life and unwavering partnership with her beloved husband, Raymond L. Smith, with whom she celebrated 57 years of marriage. Together, they built a life centered on love, faith, and family.
She was a devoted and proud mother to Raymond L. Smith II, James M. Smith, and Timothy M. Smith. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Damion M. Harris, Alissa C. Smith, Alexandria M. Smith, James C. Smith, and Xander R. Smith, as well as her adored great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Harris, Aurora Harris, Haisley Harris, and Logan Harris.
A woman of deep and abiding faith, Shiela loved Jesus and lived her life as a reflection of that love—through kindness, generosity, and a heart devoted to serving others. She found great joy in her career as a realtor, where she took pride in helping families find not just houses, but their forever homes.
Shiela had a gift for making life special in the simplest ways. She loved thrifting and finding a good bargain, always delighted in the thrill of a great deal, and had a unique and memorable tradition of wrapping gifts in aluminum foil—something her grandchildren will forever smile about. More than anything, she loved her family deeply and took great pride in caring for them, always putting their needs before her own.
Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and unconditional love—a true reflection of the life she built and the legacy she leaves behind.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Wagner-Elfner and Harkins Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania 17314.

Interment will follow at Slateville Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 308 Slateville Road, Delta, Pennsylvania 17314.
