STANLEY D. DUBREE, age 82, died on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in his home in Street, MD. Married on September 26, 1953, he and his wife, Elva (Scarborough) DuBree had shared 61 years of marriage.

Born on March 28, 1932 in Darlington, MD, he was a son of the late William S. and Goldie (Hanley) DuBree. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he had worked for 14 years as a heavy equipment operator at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Harford County, MD. Mr. DuBree was a lifelong resident of Harford County and a member of Church of the Ascension Episcopal Church in Street. He enjoyed working around the house, farm tractors and spending time with his family.

Nancy Monroe and her husband, Ralph of Texarkana, AR

William Marshall DuBree and his companion, Lorna F. Bennett of Darlington, MD

Peggy McMullen and her husband, David of Street, MD

A sister, Elsie Ailes and her husband, William of Delta, PA

Thirteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Wright and a brother, Kenneth DuBree.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Church of the Ascension Episcopal Church, 3015 Dublin Road, Street, Maryland.

Reverend Nick McDonald will be the celebrant.
