STEPHEN BAKER, 80 of Delta, PA, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2020 in Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy, PA. He was the beloved husband of Constance Thelma (Smith) Baker, and at the time of her death in January 2019, they had shared 61 years of marriage.

Born on February 4, 1939 in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of the late Patrick Albert Baker and Dorothy Louise (Buchman) Baker and had moved to Delta many years ago and built the family home. Stephen took great pride in the upkeep of the structures and the family property. He enjoyed fishing, vegetable gardening and his little dog, Sparkie was his constant companion. A carpenter by trade, he was self-employed and retired in 2001. His family commented that he will be remembered as a hard working dad who cared for his family.

Ten grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and the first great-great grandchild to be born later this year.

He was preceded in death by two sons: Stephen Thomas Baker and Christopher Charles Baker; a grandson, Stephen Thomas Baker, III; two brothers: Robert and Joe Baker and three sisters: Jackie, Evelyn and Patty.
