STEVEN ELLIOTT CAPLAN, age 30 years of Sterling, Virginia died on Monday evening, December 17, 2012 as the result of an asthma attack.

Steven was born in Silver Spring, Maryland on November 28, 1982 a son of Aaron R. and Kimberly K. (Powers) Caplan of Sterling, Virginia.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by:

One brother-Jeffrey Marc Caplan of Herndon, Virginia

Maternal Grandmother-Patricia (Hooper) Powers Bunce of Bel Air, Maryland

He was preceded death by his maternal grandfather, Harold Gene Powers and his paternal grandparents, Abel A. and Helene Mae (Pasco) Caplan.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 27th at 1:00 p.m. at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania with a visitation one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow the service in Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, Maryland

A time of gathering and refreshments will be held immediately following the graveside service at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church, 3515 Dublin Road, Street, Maryland
