Steven R. Dowell, 50, of Perryman formerly of Bel Air, Maryland died Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. Born February 18, 1967, Steve was the middle son of the late James W. and Ruthann A. (Sturgil) Dowell.

He enjoyed the outdoors; camping and fishing with his children. Steve was a reliable and faithful employee of HPC Enterprises where he worked in waterproofing and drain tile for over 20-years. He cherished his many friendships and treasured his relationship with his family.

A viewing will be held Monday, May 1, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, PA where the funeral will begin at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Jimmy Mullins. The interment and graveside service will be the following day, Tuesday, May 2 at 9:30 a.m. in Darlington Cemetery.
