SUSAN M. MABE, age 67 years of Delta, PA died at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on Friday evening, May 8, 2020. Sue and her husband, Donald W. Mabe celebrated their 50th. wedding anniversary on February 7.

Born in Baltimore, MD on December 3, 1952, she was the daughter of the late David and Mary (Giotis) Hoover.

Sue enjoyed and appreciated nature, and loved growing flowers. She also enjoyed sewing. Her cats were very special to Sue, but her granddaughter was the joy of her life.

Sue was a member of the Slate Ridge Post #182, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Whiteford, MD. While attending the legion socially, she was always ready to play a game of shuffleboard, her favorite.

A public viewing is to be on Wednesday, May 13 from 10 am until 1 pm at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, PA .

Graveside services and interment will be private in Harford Memorial Gardens, Havre de Grace, MD with Deacon Phillip G. Seneschal of St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, Pylesville, MD officiating.
