IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Terry Lee
Reynolds
November 26, 1944 – May 25, 2024
TERRY LEE REYNOLDS, 79 of Airville, PA, died unexpectedly on the morning of Saturday, May 25, 2024 at his home. He was the beloved husband for 43 years of Jacqueline Counts Reynolds who died on February 2, 2009.
Born on November 26, 1944, in Delta, PA, he was one of four sons born to the late Wilson L. Reynolds and Olive M. (Terrell) Reynolds and attended Kennard Dale High School. Terry had worked at the former Wiley's Shipyard of Port Deposit, MD from 1965 – 1969, then continued his employment as a highly skilled Ironworker for Local Union #16 at Peach Bottom Clean Energy Center. Terry retired in 1990 when his health prevented him from being an Ironworker and spent more time on his favorite pastime – classic cars. Terry was very talented at restoring cars and loved to visit junkyards for parts and unexpected treasures with his close friend, Earl Sprecher, whom he called his son. He enjoyed entering his restored classic cars at car shows and won many awards over the years for his impeccable work. He restored many classic cars in his lifetime, but three of his favorites were his classic Chevrolet Monte Carlos which you could see him driving frequently around Pennsylvania and Maryland.
Terry will be remembered as a member of the "6:00 a.m. Breakfast Club" with his personal barstool at the Delta Family Restaurant where he spent time joking and laughing with many dear friends and where the waitresses took great care of him to made sure he always had a full, fresh cup of coffee. He also was very fond of Maple Donuts in York, PA, that he enjoyed visiting with his wife who was the center of his universe. Terry deeply missed Jackie and for many years longed to be with her. When you saw Terry – Jackie was close by - and he needed to be with her again. True love is a gift and they were blessed to love each other so much. His family shared that he was one of a kind and a truly a remarkable father and grandfather who they will all deeply miss every day.
