THELMA E. EID, age 91 years of Delta, PA died on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, MD. She was the wife of Joseph E. Eid who died in 1987.

Mrs. Eid was born in Baltimore, MD on November 21, 1922 a daughter of the late Edward and Eva (Ringrose) Biden. A lifetime resident of Baltimore, she moved to Delta in 2000 to be closer to her family. She was a member of the Delta Senior Center. Mrs. Eid enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by three sons:

Joseph E. Eid, Jr. and his wife Donna of Stewartstown, PA

John F. Eid, Sr. and his wife Susan of Delta, PA

Jerry W. Eid, Sr. and his wife Linda of Pylesville, MD

Six grandsons:

Joseph E. Eid, III

Rodney Eid

John F. Eid, Jr.

Bryan Eid

Jerry W. Eid, Jr.

Shawn M. Eid

Mrs. Eid is also survived by nine great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Raymond Eid.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 11 at 10:00 a.m. at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA

The visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside committal and interment services will be held on Wednesday at 12:15 p.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, 7401 German Hill Avenue, Dundalk, MD 21222
