THOMAS LYNN MARTIN age 76 of Pylesville, MD, died in his home on Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Married on October 30, 1981, he and his wife, Virginia (Canoles) Martin had shared 33 years of marriage.

A son of the late Carl and Reba L. (Rutledge) Martin, Mr. Martin was born on April 8, 1938 in Dunklin, MO. Working as a custodian for Harford County Public Schools, he retired in 1993 with 17 years of service. Mr. Martin enjoyed gardening, caring for his lawn and cherished times spent with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by:

Six children

Five siblings - all living in Missouri

Garvin Martin, Gary Martin, Barbara Martin, Geneva Martin and Wayne Martin.

Fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren

Numerous loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert Martin and Charles Martin.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA where the funeral will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday.

Reverend Mark A. Rudd of Trinity Free Will Baptist Church will officiate.

Interment will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Whiteford, MD.
