TOY FERN RINARD, age 80 years of Airville, PA, died on Friday, February 28, 2014 at the home of her son. Born on May 3, 1933 in Todd, NC, she was a daughter of the late Quincy and Melinda (Bare) Goodman.

A licensed practical nurse, Toy had worked for the Kendal-Crossland Communities for 25 years at the Kennett Square, PA location. She retired from the Harrison House of Lancaster County after 10 years of service. Toy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Delta.

She is survived by:

A son, Samuel E. Rinard and his wife, Brenda of Airville, PA

Three sisters-

Flora Weaver, Myrtle Brown and Joy Miller

Two grandchildren – Bridget Berg and Michael Van Ess

Two great grandchildren – Lily and Jamison

She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Rinard on August 25, 2006.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA with her pastor, Reverend John T. Davis officiating.

Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Airville, PA.

Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.
