VIOLA E. EATON, age 92 years, of Delta, Pennsylvania died on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland.

Born on April 9, 1919 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Viola (Captain) Knoerlein. Previously living in Baltimore, she moved to the Delta area approximately 22 years ago. Retiring in 1987, she had worked for 20 years as a bank teller for the Maryland National Bank of Baltimore. A member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Parish, in Pylesville, Maryland, she also was a member of the Cresmont Social Club in Baltimore. Mrs. Eaton enjoyed working with crafts and spending time with her family.

She is survived by:

A son, John F. Eaton and his wife, Mary Jo of Delta, Pennsylvania

A sister, Helen Schenning of Churchville, Maryland

Eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Parish, 1021 St. Mary's Road, Pylesville, Maryland on Monday, February 20, 2012 at 11 a.m.
