VIRGINIA B. OWEN, age 90 years of Street, MD, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2015 in her home. She was the beloved wife of William Lawrence Owen who preceded her in death on November 28, 1985.

Born on December 26, 1924 in Rugby, VA, Mrs. Owen was a daughter of the late Glenn and Pearl A. (Richardson) Testerman and a graduate of the former Jarrettsville High School. She was a devoted 55 year member of North Harford Baptist Church where she had taught Sunday School and led Children's Church alongside her late husband. Mrs. Owen was known to enjoy reading.

She is survived by:

A daughter, Nancy E. Burkey and her husband, Dennis of Street, MD with whom she resided.

A granddaughter, Tressa Gee and her husband, Quentin of York, PA

Two great grandchildren-

Josiah Asbury and his wife, Miranda of Chesapeake, VA

Noah Asbury of York, PA

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 20, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at North Harford Baptist Church, 4008 Old Federal Hill Road, Jarrettsville, MD 21084.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the church beginning at 11 a.m. with Associate Pastor, Reverend Robert Kaczmarek officiating.

Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
