Virginia Elizabeth (Cole) Jackson, 98, of Bel Air, Maryland, died on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Liv-N-Well Assisted Living.

She was the wife of the late Melvin B. Jackson.

Virginia was born in Independence, Virginia, on January 23, 1927, daughter of the late Graham and Pearl (Hodge) Cole.

She was a homemaker and a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church in Bel Air. Virginia enjoyed sewing, gardening, going to yard sales, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by three children: Ronald L. Jackson, Carolyn D. Simmons, and Larry E. Cole; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Wagner-Elfner and Harkins Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 600 Main Street, Delta. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. Ed Zeiders officiating. Burial will follow the service in Mount Nebo Cemetery.
