W.JOSEPH HOWE, age 64 years, of Whiteford, MD went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, December 14, 2011. He was the husband of Brenda (Dalton) Howe with whom he had shared 46 years of marriage.

Born on June 15, 1947 in Kingsport, TN, he was a son of Neely R. (White) Howe of Zephyr Hills, FL and the late Heiskell P. Howe. Mr. Howe was a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era. He enjoyed traveling, genealogy and was a history buff.

Steven J. Howe and his wife, Janet of Holtwood, PA

Four grandchildren-Matthew J. and Ryan J. Barre; Amber Howe; Teddy Kidwell

Sisters-Shirley Kupisch and Penny Wolf

Brothers-Alan, Kenny and Dennis Howe

He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA where the funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m.

Interment will be in Darlington Cemetery, Darlington, MD.

Pastor Tracy Duvall of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church will officiate.
