WALTER L. KILGORE, age 83, died on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at his home in Airville, Pennsylvania.

Born on February 1, 1926 in Bridgeton, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Charles W. and Millicent (Smith) Kilgore. A lifetime resident of the area, he was a dairy farmer retiring in 1996. He was a member of the Chanceford Presbyterian Church in Airville and was affiliated with the local VFW, Order of the Moose and the American Legions.

He is survived by:

A son, Kevin R. Kilgore of Airville

A brother, Smith H. Kilgore and his wife, Janet of Delta

He was preceded in death by his brothers-

James Kilgore, C. Robert Kilgore, and John Kilgore.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at Chanceford Presbyterian Church, 56 Woodbine Road, Airville, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, January 13th at 11 AM.
