Wendell W. Phillips, age 78 of Darlington, MD died on Friday, July 9, 2010 at Harford Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Wilma A. (Church) Miller Phillips. They were married in 1976.

Mr. Phillips was born on September 15, 1931 in Washington Township, Ohio a son of the late Henry J. and Lennie L. (Cassidy) Phillips. He retired after many years of service from Aberdeen Proving Ground where he was an environmental equipment operator. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the US Army.

In addition to his wife he is survived by- daughters Dianna J. Blevins and Vicky L. Jones, son Micheal L. Phillips, daughter Glenda J. Phillips and a step-son Larry Miller.

Also survived by many grandchildren and great �grandchildren, nieces and nephews

2 sisters- Wilma Carmon and Audrey Kidd.

He was preceded in death by a step-son Jimmy Miller

Funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 14 at 11:00 AM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home for 1 hour prior to the service.

Burial will be at Harford Memorial Gardens, Aldino, MD
