WILLIAM CLETUS 'BUB' PYLE, JR., 79 years of Delta, PA, died on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at York Hospital. Married on March 13, 1955, he was the loving husband of Joyce (Ewell) Pyle with whom he had shared nearly 61 years of marriage.

Born on May 25, 1936 in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of the late William C. Pyle, Sr., and Olive (McKinley) Pyle. A lifetime resident of York Co., Pyle's Barber Shop was recognized among the community as a place for socializing where everyone could "keep up with the local news." Many people enjoyed his hospitality over the 55 years where he was known as a "town" barber. Bub was very fond of animals and rescued feral cats, nursing them to health and helping to provide homes for them. He enjoyed traveling and was a Civil War "buff."

A sister, Arlyn Pyle of Myrtle Beach, SC

A brother, Russell C. Pyle and his wife, "Bunny" of Tazewell, Virginia

Four grandchildren, a great granddaughter in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.

A Time of Visitation and Reflection will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. at New Covenant Community Church, 284 Slab Road, Delta, PA.
