Mr. Griffin was the husband of the late Helen E. Griffin who died on April 17, 1982.

He was the son of the late Nelson Lee and Violette (Morris) Griffin. He had lived in the Street, Maryland area for over fifty-six years. He was a WWII United States Army Veteran having served in the European-African-Middle-Eastern Theater. He has worked at the former I.W. Jenkins Construction Company for over twenty years as a heavy equipment operator.

A son-Joseph Griffin of Aberdeen, Maryland

One step-son-John Murphy of Joppa, Maryland

One brother-Charles Griffin of Pylesville, Maryland

Three sisters-Margarine Norris of Abingdon, Maryland; Olive Hutton of Street, Maryland; Virginia Fitch of Abingdon, Maryland

Two grandchildren-Sandra Pollard and Helen Griffin, both of Perryville, Maryland

One great grandson
