William Russell Preston, Jr., 79, beloved husband of Caroline (Linkous) Preston of Bel Air, MD and dear son-in-law of Grace W. Linkous of Pylesville, MD died on Saturday February 19, 2022 at Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore. William was born in Baltimore to late William Russell Preston, Sr. and Margaret (French) Preston.

After retiring, William and Caroline enjoyed spending a lot of quiet time together. They spent their days in the company of their dogs, of which William held a great fondness. William was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and trap shooter. He had a zest for life that was fed by racing Corvettes and riding his motorcycle. In his early years, William trained and rode horses.
