Helen M. Hedrick, age 78 years of Millsboro, DE formerly of Manchester, York County died at her home on Wednesday, August 1. She was the wife of the late James A. Hedrick Sr.

Mrs. Hedrick was born on April 2, 1934 at Norristown, PA a daughter of the late Howard and Florence (Truesdel) Snyder. She worked at Dallco Industries as a pattern marker for many years. After moving to Delaware she was a member of the Ladies Red Hats- a cancer survivor club. Mrs. Hedrick was a colorful woman, enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and was an avid reader.

She is survived by a daughter- Shiela M. Smith and her husband Ray of Delta, PA and a son James A. Hedrick Jr. of York Haven , PA
3 grandchildren- James M. Smith, Raymond L. (Chip) Smith 2nd and Timothy M. Smith
5 great-grandchildren- Damion Harris, Alissa Smith, Alexandria Smith, Keona Jourdan and James Smith.
Brother- Richard Snyder of Seminole, FLA

Funeral service will be on Monday, August 6 at 12 Noon at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, Pa, Visitation will be for 1 hour prior to the service
Burial will be at Mt. Rose Cemetery, York, PA
