Life Story for Robert Franklin Rudd

Robert Franklin  Rudd
ROBERT FRANKLIN RUDD, age 65 years of Delta, Pennsylvania, formerly of Bel Air, MD, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center.

Born on May 2, 1947 in Darlington, MD, Mr. Rudd was a son of the late Albert D. and Mary M. (nee Alder) Rudd. Mr. Rudd was an U.S. Air Force veteran having served from 1966 to 1970. A recipient of the Bronze Star Medal, he served two tours in Southeast Asia. He was a truck driver of 41 years before retiring in 2009. Mr. Rudd loved retirement and spending time with his dogs, Daisy and Raggs.

He is survived by;
His wife of 27 years, Elerie (nee Laye) Rudd

A step-son, Dana Tipton of Perryville, MD

A brother, Raymond Rudd and his wife, Mary of Felton, DE

Three sisters-
Naomi Ball of Churchville, MD
Wanda Karnasiewicz and her husband, Walt of Port Huron, MI
Mildred Taylor and her husband, Delanor of Titusville, FL

A cherished niece, Tina Billings (nee Blevins) and her husband, Jeff of Delta, PA

Many loving nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his sister, Rosie Little

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA. Mr. Dana Tipton will officiate.

Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Entombment will be at Harford Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Aberdeen, MD.
