Lowell and I spent a lot of time together from 1944 to 1962 (age 7 to 22) when my work took me from Harford County. During that time he became my closest friend and he was the most honest, reliable, talented friend I ever had. I last visited him in '95 on my last trip to Maryland and although he had aged some, he had otherwise changed very little. I cherish our years together and I am very saddened by his passing.
