JACQUELINE R. HENNING, age 66 years of Delta, PA, died on Friday, September 21, 2012 at York Hospital. Born on February 25, 1946 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late Charles H. and Regina (Scanlon) Riggs.

Jacqueline had worked as a sales clerk for the former Whiteford Packing Company, former Thompson Dairy Barn, both of Whiteford, MD and for the former Montgomery Ward Department Store location in Baltimore, MD. She had a strong faith in God, attending Slateville Presbyterian Church in Delta. She loved flowers, cooking, baking, blue grass music and the Baltimore sports teams-the Orioles and Ravens.

Jacqueline enjoyed spending time with her friends and cherished times with her family. She attended the Delta Senior Center and especially enjoyed the Amish Market held there during the summer months.

Nine grandchildren- Julia Johnson, Sarah Gerick, Grace Henning, Caroline Henning, Zach Henning, Emily Henning, Heather Macciola, James and Annie Macciola.

Great grandsons- Jacob, Jayden and Preston

She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jean Owings and a brother, Charles H. Riggs, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 25th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Slateville Presbyterian Church, 308 Slateville Road, Delta, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 beginning at 11 a.m. at the church with cremation to follow the service.
