Life Story for Dorothy L. Wright

Dorothy L.  Wright
DOROTHY L. WRIGHT, age 83 years of Street, Maryland died on Friday, September 28, 2012 at the Barbara J. Egan Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania. She was the wife of Marvin Wright, Sr. who died on August 1, 2000.

Born on July 4, 1929 in the Vale area of Harford County, Maryland, she was a daughter of the late William Stanley and Goldie Irene (Hanley) Dubree. Working as a seamstress, she had sewn for the former Fawn Grove Sewing Factory, the former Dallastown Factory and had retired in 1978 from the former D&D Sewing Factory in Delta, Pennsylvania. Dorothy also had delivered the Baltimore Sun newspaper for a few years during her retirement.

Dorothy was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania.

She is survived by:

Shirley Ryan and her husband, Vernon
Patricia Smith and her husband, Randy
Roy Wright and his wife, Robin
Theresa Fry and her husband, Stephen

Jenny Lynn Kohler and her husband, Karl; John Wright, James Wright, Charles Wright, Merlin Wright, Matthew Wright, Karen Wright Ridall, Rebekah Benson and her husband, Michael; Angelia DiGiorgio and her husband, Michael; Keith Brown, II; Wendy Ryan, Christina Yapps, Randy F. Smith, Joseph Smith and his wife, Tracy, Janet Wright, Beth Ann Fullaway and Paul Fry.

Nineteen great grandchildren-Baxter Wright, Mercedes Wright, Jayson Wright, Jasmine Ridall, Michael Benson, Austin Benson, Kaleb Minnick, Mason Minnick, Phoenix Brown, Kari Hudges, Sara Hudges, Casi Hudges, Jonathan Yapps, Tia Smith, Joe Smith, April Wright, Bryan Fullaway, Jonathan Fullaway and Summer Buerger

A brother, S. Donald Dubree and his wife, Elva

A sister, Elsie Ailes and her husband, Bill

She was preceded in death by sons, Samuel in 1961 and Thomas in March, 1994; a brother, Kenneth Dubree in 1978.

A graveside inurnment service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Salem Cemetery, adjacent to the Salem United Methodist Church, 5042 Delta Road, Delta, PA.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the Fawn Grove Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 987 Brown Road, New Park, PA.
