Life Story for Belinda Grace Galbreath

Belinda Grace  Galbreath
BELINDA GRACE GALBREATH, age 59 years of Street, MD died at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD at 12:57 pm. on Sunday, October 14, 2012.

Born in Baltimore, MD on November 21, 1952, she was a daughter of Thelma R. (Greene) Galbreath of Street and the late Robert Russell Galbreath. Belinda was a lifetime member of the Highland Presbyterian Church where she had served as a trustee and Sunday School teacher.
A 1970 graduate of North Harford High School, she received a bachelor of science degree in Library Science from the University of Maryland. Belinda retired in 2009 after more than 30 years employment as a librarian with the Baltimore County Public Library. She was an avid reader and wonderful storyteller and she enjoyed working counted cross stitch.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by:
One sister: Marlene G. Herculson and her husband Tim of Jarrettsville, MD

One brother: Brian R. Galbreath and his wife Joan of Street, MD

Belinda was the loving “Auntie” of Russell and Spencer Herculson and Meghan and Andrew Galbreath.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 18 at 11:00 a.m. at the Highland Presbyterian Church, 701 Highland Road, Street, MD 21154.

Her pastor, Reverend John V. Carlson will officiate.

Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to the church at the above address.
