Betty F. Tyson, age 79 years of Fawn Grove, PA died on November 14 at Misercordia Convalescent Home, York, PA. She was the wife of the late Willis P. Tyson.

Mrs. Tyson was born on Nov. 13, 1933 in Laurel, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Melvin and Anna Mae (Dunlap) Flaharty. She was a member of the Lancaster County Sportsman Association and the PA Farm Bureau. Mrs. Tyson enjoyed dancing, hunting and spending time in Potter County at the family camp.

She is survived by an adopted son- Tim Hanzlik of Fawn Grove, PA

3 grandchildren- Dena Bruce, Dusty Kanely and Eric Horton

9 great-grandchildren- Sarah, Cody, Matthew, Kira, Lacie, Nate, Cierra, Briar and Abrielle and 1 great-greatgrandson- Layton

1 sister- Deanna Eveler and her husband Donnie of Collinsville, PA

She was preceded in death by 1 son Willis P. Tyson Jr and 4 brothers and 4 sisters

A Memorial Service will be on Friday, Nov. 23 at 7:30 PM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, PA with Pastor Dennis McCleary officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 -7:30 PM at the funeral home.
