Beulah Mae Testerman Darnell age 96, of Jefferson, NC died on Thursday, November 22, 2012 at the Margate Health & Rehab Center in Jefferson, NC. She was the wife of the late Jessie Clifford Darnell.

Mrs. Darnell was born on October 31, 1916 in Lansing, NC, a daughter of the late Wendell Goss and Susan (Parsons) Testerman.
She was a member of the Chrome Hill Freewill Baptist Church in Forest Hill, MD and a member for thirty years of Landmark Baptist Church in Lansing, NC.

Mrs. Darnell is survived by:
Three Daughters Linda Blevins and her husband, Roy of Lansing, NC
Carol Porter and her husband, Neil of Elkton, MD
Louise Hamm of Bel Air, MD
Two Sons John Darnell of Jefferson, NC
Larry Darnell and his wife, Kathryn of Forest Hill, MD
Son-in-law Vernon Scarff of Baltimore, MD
Sister-in-law Pauline Darnell of Jefferson, NC

Also survived by twenty seven grandchildren, fifty one great grandchildren and fourteen great great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Darnell was preceded in death by four daughters; Maxine Darnell Scarff, Bobbie Darnell Pierce, Bernice "Bunny" Darnell Andrews and Margaret "Margie" Darnell Mitzel, a grandson, Donnie Hamm and a great grandson, Brandon Schuler.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, PA.

Officiating will be Reverend Charles McCoy and Reverend Russell Sheets.

Interment will follow in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Harkins Funeral Home.
