Life Story for Bonnie Lee Morris

Bonnie Lee  Morris
BONNIE LEE MORRIS, age 85 years of Delta, PA died at her home at 8:04 a.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. She was the wife of Larry A. Morris. They observed their 36th. wedding anniversary on September 9, 2012.

Bonnie was born on July 18, 1927 in Hudson, Wisconsin a daughter of the late Marion and Lucinda Rose. She was raised by her adoptive parents, Reverend and Mrs. Frank J. Werth. She moved to North Carolina later in life where she owned and operated her own farm. Bonnie had lived in Delta for almost 40 years where she was a member of the Pine Grove Presbyterian Church in Airville. She was a lifetime member and former president of the Ladies Auxiliary of Slate Ridge Post #182, American Legion in Whiteford, MD. Her interests included sewing, cooking, reading and working the land.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by:
Two daughters
Barbara Derliunas and her husband Stanley of Quarryville, PA
Carol Muscia of Lancaster, PA

One son: Gary Westberg and his wife Freida of Elm City, NC

One brother: Richard Rose of Madison, WI

Bonnie is also survived by five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several half brothers and sisters.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA.

Cremation will follow.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 26 at 2:00 p.m. at 292 Quarry Road, Delta.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Pine Grove Presbyterian Church, 4263 Delta Road, Airville, PA 17302
