Life Story for Doris Turner

Doris  Turner
DORIS TURNER, age 82 years, of York passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Manor Care – York North. She was the wife of Roman S. Turner, II who passed away on January 31, 2002.

Born in Baltimore, MD on June 17, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Mildred Gibson. She is survived by:

Two daughters-Barbara A. Turner and Lisa N. Turner Porter

Four sons-Mitchell Hall, James Turner, Larry Turner and Gregory Turner

A brother, Tilghman Hall

A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lana M. Turner on February 9, 2009 and two sons: David L. Turner on May 26, 2007 and Roman S. Turner, III on December 23, 2008.

Visitation will be held from 10 – 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA immediately followed by the funeral service. Reverend Samuel Means and Sister Norma Fickens will co-officiate.

Interment will be at church cemetery at Clarks U.M.C. in Bel Air, Maryland where the repast will follow in the social hall.
