Message: I just wanted to take a moment and let you know how sorry I am for your loss and that you are in my prayers. Aunt Betty was an inspiration to me and mny others. Everyone knows that she loved her family more than anything else on this earth. Her family was her life and she did things her way. I loved when she would come to the house to visit with my mom, and say to me “Do you want to come along?” Lord only knew where we would end up. It could be on any back road, yard sale, visit to mom mom's, other family member, Fredrick Md., or O.C. Md., and sometimes we could end up at Larry's Cabin racing on the dirt track in her station wagon. My mom did not even drive. So that was really big stuff to me. She always had to be doing something. Weather is be working, talking, visiting family, at the fire department, church or dancing. She did not relax much , but when I would spend the night at my Aunt Betty's I remember just how much she would love for Melissa and I to brush her hair.. Relaxing in her chair. Funny my Grandmother Barben loved for us to brush her hair too. She really loved people and being with them. I know that my Dad will miss those morning coffees and talks about the problems in the world, and who did this, and so on. But lately see was just missing Uncle Tom and was not the same. Dad said that “She tickled him with her expressions and the things that she would say”. My dad will miss her deeply and cherish the love that they shared as a brother and sister. I am sure that Aunt Betty has that giggle, smile, as she can not stop talking to all in heaven. For my cousins know that your mom is with loved ones in heaven, and that she is happy, and complete; as the good Lord has told us in the bible. She will always be your light and angel. I pray that Jesus helps you during this difficult time. Much love always. Tammy

Message: To the Gray Family, I feel your pain and your loss. My prayers go out to you all in this time of grief. Your mom always had kind words to say to me when I would see her out anywhere, but remember all the pain and sorrow is gone and she is happy now that she is with your dad. Message: It was too soon for Betty to leave but I am sure she had a calling much greater to see to. In our chats along the way I wish her children to know just how much she loved each and every one of you and your family. I had the pleasure of working with her for a short while on a lunch truck for Peachbottom and she made time just go by so quickly. She visited with my Mom and Dad just a few weeks ago and Im glad she took time to do that. I know you will miss your Mom greatly but instead of being beside you she will be above, watching over each of you and protecting you until that day that you will be together again. Message: Mom I am crushed inside but also relieved now that I know you are with dad and the rest of your family. Just yesterday I picked up the phone out of habit to call now I just have to talk. You were not only a mother you were a true friend someone I could rely on no matter what. Just last week I was taking out the garbage to the curb and you asked if I needed any help. Practically every day we have talked since Dad passed and I knew you were failing from grief because when Dad passed part of you did as well. You stayed here with all your kids and family as long as you could. As you witnessed the birth of me I also witnessed the death of you. Like I said to you while in the hospital I know you could hear me I will see you soon. Life on earth is just like steam that disappears so fast as compared to eternal life in Heaven that never ends. I was so fortunate to have you and Dad as parents as you two gave me your traits of kindness and love. Time will heal our hearts as we have our families to raise like you and Dad did. Thank you mom I love you and will miss you and Dad the rest of my life....
