Life Story for David D. Gibson

David D. Gibson
DAVID D. GIBSON, age 42 years of Stewartstown, PA, formerly of Dundalk MD, passed away, Sunday March 24, 2013. He is survived by a son, Jordan Gibson, a step son, Matthew Spahr, and his companion and friend, Amy Leisenring, all of Stewartstown. David leaves his father, James Gibson and brother Brian Gibson of Kingsport, TN, brother James Gibson of Delta, PA. Dave was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Gibson.
Dave proudly served our country in the Army at young age, stationed in Germany. His occupational background included the National Parks Service at Mount Mitchell as well as self-employment as an equine dentist for 10 years. Dave recently domesticated himself for a while working at Metal Benders, Baltimore, MD.
Dave most enjoyed summer excursions with his son Jordan, camping, working or just having fun. His equine dentistry had him up and down the East Coast where he enjoyed traveling and seeing different places. He always made an experience out of his travels. Fish camp with Queasy was always looked forward to, as well as the trail rides with Chris and Jenny, or just days hanging out in Dundalk with Doug. He enjoyed the finest tobaccos, working with horses and raiding the refrigerator after everyone went to bed.
He was a member of several Equine and Trail Rider Associations in addition to a lifetime membership with the American Legion, Post #455, Stewartstown, PA
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA with Pastor James Johnson of Dublin United Methodist Church officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
