JEAN LOUISE HOLMES, age 81 years of Whiteford, MD, died on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Hart Heritage Estate in Street, MD. She was the wife of Johnie R. Holmes, Sr. who died August 16, 1999.
Born on December 21, 1931 in Havre de Grace, MD, she was a daughter of the late Oliver Guy and Florence (Guyton) Parthree. A lifetime resident of Harford County, Mrs. Holmes had worked as a pharmacist technician for over 20 years at the Whiteford Pharmacy, retiring in 1997. She was a member of Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church in Whiteford, MD, Ladies Auxiliary of the Slate Ridge American Legion Post #182, Whiteford and the Delta-Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company. Mrs. Holmes enjoyed attending the Highland Senior Center.

Eight step great grandchildren-Brooke Furley, Brittany Furley, Patrick Furley, Leonard Martin, IV; Talan Furley, Deameon Martin, Seth Martin and Nick Martin.
Two step great-great grandchildren: Lilly and Leonard.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Darrick Bennington, Joshua Holmes, Richard Fantom, Clyde Holmes, Jr.; Johnie Holmes and Ronald Purcell.
Honorary bearers will be William Stubbs, Daniel Powers and Jimmy Roberts.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 8219 Town Center Drive, Baltimore, MD 21236.
