Life Story for Linda C. Robinson

Linda C.  Robinson
LINDA C. ROBINSON, age 53 years of Delta, PA died on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. She was the wife of Larry D. Robinson with whom she had shared 34 years of marriage.

Born on August 31, 1959 in Detroit, MI, she was a daughter of the late James E. and Burdine (Taylor) Wilson. A 1975 graduate of Pershing High School in Detroit, she enlisted in the United States Army and continued her education on the G.I. Bill. An entrepreneur, Mrs. Robinson owned and/or operated food service companies in various locations all over the United States and Germany.

A local resident for the past 8 years, in 2009, Mrs. Robinson opened “Hot Dog Heaven”- at three locations, still a familiar sight in Whiteford and Dublin. She operated the concessions every Wednesday night and Saturday mornings at the Baltimore Auto Auction in Aberdeen, MD. Mrs. Robinson was known as an energetic hardworking person.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by:
Two children-
Larry T. Robinson of Nottingham, MD
Jovonte D. Robinson of Whiteford, MD

Four grandchildren-JaCinda, LarrieMarie, LaShaunah and TaeShaun.

A sister, Lovey Sturdivan of Gary, IN

Two brothers of Detroit, MI
James E. Wilson and Terry L. Wilson

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA

Funeral services will begin on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Trinity A.M.E. Zion Church, 1006 Main Street, Delta, PA with her pastor, Reverend Samuel L. Means officiating.

Out of town funeral services will be scheduled in Detroit, MI with interment with military honors. Please visit Harkins Funeral Home website for updates.

In lieu of flowers, her family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Trinity A.M.E. Zion Church, P.O. Box 2, Delta, PA 17314
