HELEN K. JOHNSON of Delta, PA died on Friday, April 5, 2013 in the Brunswick at Longstown of York, PA. She was the wife of Thomas E. Johnson who died in 1997.

A daughter of the late Walter and Katie (Wagner) Keesey, she was born on February 12, 1913. Mrs. Johnson was one of the very few to have lived for 100 years having spent the last 60 years in the Airville area of York County. A member of Pine Grove Presbyterian Church, she enjoyed walking, traveling and spending time with her family. Mrs. Johnson was known to raise beautiful flowers.

She is survived by:
A son, Eddie Johnson of Airville, PA

A daughter, Peggy Taylor of Delta, PA

Nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.

A brother, W. Russell Keesey and his wife, Marti of Lancaster, PA

She was preceded in death by a son, Barry Johnson, four sisters and a brother.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 from 10 – 11 a.m. at Pine Grove Presbyterian Church, 4263 Delta Road, Airville, PA 17302 with funeral service beginning at 11 a.m.

Her pastor, Reverend James B. Shuler will officiate with interment in the adjoining church cemetery.
