Life Story for Edna Harrison Wilson

Edna Harrison  Wilson
EDNA HARRISON WILSON, age 94 years of Carlisle, PA died in her sleep on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at the Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home in Carlisle. Formerly of Fawn Grove and Millersville, PA, Mrs. Wilson had resided in Carlisle for the past four years. She was the wife of Joseph R. Wilson who died in 2006.

She is survived by:
Three children-
Jo Ann Wilson Cubbage and her husband, Roger of Arlington, VA
James R. Wilson and his wife, Carolyn of Carlisle, PA
Carole Wilson Stauffer and her husband, Robert of Cape Coral, FL

Seven grandchildren-
Brian Cubbage, James Cubbage, Matthew Wilson, Deborah Wilson Scudder, Jessica Wilson Burkholder, Jason Epler and Leigh Epler Aguirre.

Ten great grandchildren-
Elias Cubbage, Justin Cubbage, James Wilson, Zion Wilson, Wilson Scudder, Harrison Scudder, Emily Burkholder, Ysellah Aguirre, Marina Aguirre and Santiago Aguirre.

Edna was preceded in death by-
Her parents, Thomas Elmer and Cora (Scott) Harrison

Three sisters, Helen Harrison Lowe, Mae Harrison Brown and Grace Harrison Bushong

A brother, Marvin Harrison

Edna was a member of the Fawn United Methodist Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution. While living in York Co., she worked as a local reporter for the former York Gazette and Daily. She enjoyed sewing, growing flowers and gardening.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Fawn United Methodist Church, 67 S. Market Street, Fawn Grove, PA 17321 with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. followed immediately by the funeral service.

Her pastor, Reverend David W. Stough will officiate.

Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, her family would appreciate memorial contributions to the church at the above address.
