Life Story for Donna Jean Butler

Donna Jean  Butler
DONNA JEAN BUTLER, age 70 years of Conowingo, MD died on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 7:53 p.m. in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. She was the wife of Terry E. Butler with whom she recently celebrated their 43rd anniversary on April 6th.

Born in Baltimore, MD on February 5, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Bernard E. and Ruth Anna (Wayne) Shook. A 1961 graduate of Dundalk High School, she was a homemaker enjoying cooking and crossword puzzles. Mrs. Butler also was a day care provider in her home for over 20 years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by:
Three children-
Jason E. Butler and his wife, Jaime of Rising Sun, MD
David Lee Butler and Carol L. Butler, both of Conowingo, MD

Seven grandchildren

Two brothers-
Bernard E. Shook Jr., of Whiteford, MD
Richard W. Shook of New Freedom, PA

Two sisters-
Susan E. Lambrow of Dundalk,MD
Linda A. Blevins of Level, MD

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m.

Pastor James Johnson of Dublin United Methodist Church will officiate.

Interment will be in Slateville Cemetery, Delta, PA.
