Life Story for H. Wayne Harrington

HOWARD WAYNE HARRINGTON, age 60 years of Whiteford, MD, died on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. He was the husband of Lucinda Allison Harrington.

Born on September 17, 1952 in York, PA, he was a son of Rosie E. (Johnson) Harrington of Whiteford, MD and the late Charles E. Harrington. Wayne was a skilled mechanic, working for T.C. Simon, the former Enfield John Deere Equipment and retiring from American Infrastructure of Baltimore, MD. He enjoyed working on cars in his spare time as well as on the job. He relished country music and was a member of Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by:
Three children-
Kelly A. Owens and her husband, Jonathan of York, PA
Richard I. Harrington and Joshua W. Harrington, both of Cardiff, MD.

A brother, Michael D. Harrington of Whiteford, MD.

Three grandchildren, a niece and a great niece.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 12, 2013 at Nt. Nebo United Methodist Church, 962 Flintville Road, Delta, PA with his pastor, Reverend James R. Speelman officiating.

Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.

Friends may call at the church from 10 – 11 a.m.

Pallbearers will be Richard Harrington, Joshua Harrington, Marvin Orr, Paul Leonard, Jason DeLong and John Finley.
