Life Story for Catherine Margaret Joop

Catherine Margaret  Joop
Catherine Margaret Obrecht Joop, age 69, left for the Lord's House on Monday, December 1st, 2014 at her residence. Born on May 7th, 1945 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, she moved to Fawn Grove in 1990. She is preceded in death by her husband William Glenn Joop Sr. She is survived by sons Christopher P. Vogel of Fawn Grove PA, William G. Joop Jr & daughter-in-law Alexis Burk of Dallastown PA, sisters Louise Obrecht Armstrong and family of Delta PA, Margaret Obrecht Whyte and family of Stoughton MA, Jennifer Obrecht and family of Amarillo TX, Cathy Laney and family of Thorndale TX, brothers William B. Obrecht & Charles Schoppert of Glen Arm MD, and Richard Paul Sr. and family of Red Lion PA, Aunt Shirley Stevens of Minneapolis MN, grandchildren Kristen M. Vogel and William R. Vogel of Westminster MD as well as her beloved dog Bella and cats Tim and Tom. She is further survived by a very large circle of extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews and of course all of her beloved friends.
Mrs. Joop was a member of the first graduating class of St. Joan of Arc Catholic School in Aberdeen, MD. She attended St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Parrish in Pylesville, MD. Of her previous jobs, her favorite was working with the wonderful people at the Harford County Public Library System. The memorial service will be at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta PA 17314 with Pastor Eddie Henry officiating on Saturday December 13th, 2014 at 2pm.
