Chicken salad?

So I must have been about 6 years old and we were having one of those big lunches at Old Mom-mom's house.  Sure that I was enjoying my chicken salad sandwich and tea on the front porch I was soon joined by Uncle Paul.

Of course Uncle Paul had to set me straight....  I learned that I was indeed NOT eating chicken salad, but informed that I was lucky enough to be eating fresh buzzard meat whch he had harvested from the field out back that very morning!

It was the best!  For years no mere chicken could hold a candle to that fresh buzzard meat!

Every memory I have of my Uncle Paul is a fond one and the more I remember the more I smile!
