Life Story for Kenneth Dean Tomlinson

KENNETH DEAN TOMLINSON, 84 years of New Castle, DE, died on Wednesday, September 30, 2015. He was the husband of the late Jane (Keesee) Tomlinson.

Born on September 5, 1931 in Street, MD, he was a son of the late Glenn and Ethel (Cantler) Tomlinson and a 1949 graduate of the former Dublin High School. Mr. Tomlinson was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict and earned his degree in Atomic Engineering at the University of Wisconsin. Going to work for the DuPont Corporation in Delaware as an engineer, he at one point managed two research facilities on the Delaware River. Mr. Tomlinson retired as a supervisor with over 30 years of service.
He enjoyed fishing, boating and motorcycles.

He is survived by:
A son, Timothy A. Tomlinson and his wife, Natalia of Alexandria, VA

A sister, Sara Lee Baker of Delta, PA

A brother, Joseph Tomlinson of Virginia Beach, VA

Two grandchildren- Shaun and Jayden Tomlinson
