Susan K.  Burchett
SUSAN K. BURCHETT, 57 years of Churchville, MD, died on Sunday, November 8, 2015 in her home. Married on July 5, 1980, she and her husband, William G. Burchett, Jr. had shared 35 years of marriage.

Born on October 3, 1958 in Havre de Grace, MD, she was a daughter of the late Robert J. Kelly Jr., and Ann (Scott) Kelly. A 1976 graduate of Bel Air High School, Susan attended West Virginia University followed by completing her degree in 1980 at Salisbury State University. A C.P. A. in 1988, Susan worked for Wooden & Benson in Baltimore, MD for eight years followed by serving many years as Controller for Tidewater Marina in Havre de Grace, MD. In 2008, she joined her family and began working at the Kelly Group in Bel Air where she served as their Vice President

Susan's memberships included the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' Personal Financial Planning and Tax Divisions; the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and she was a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA.)

A lifelong resident of Harford County, Susan was a very active member of the community. She had served as a board member of the American Red Cross Chesapeake Region-Harford County; the Chesapeake Professional Women's Network and served as treasurer for the Toastmasters, Harford County Chapter.

Elizabeth A. Russell and her husband, Garrett of Arnold, MD
Michael K. Burchett and his fiancée, Elizabeth Bangert of Berlin, MD

A sister, Ann H. McCarron of Havre de Grace, MD

Three brothers-
Robert J. Kelly, III and his wife, Mary Ella of Darlington, MD
William S. Kelly and his wife, Lois of Bel Air, MD
Thomas S. Kelly of Baltimore, MD

Two grandchildren-William and Anna Russell

Visitations will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m.at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, the 13th at Grace Memorial Episcopal Church, 1022 Main Street, Darlington, MD beginning at 11 a.m. The Reverend Canon Dr. Mark Gatza, Rector of Emmanuel Episcopal Church of Bel Air will officiate.
