Life Story for Joyce Lee Jones Felter
JOYCE LEE (JONES) FELTER, 80 years, died in her home surrounded by her family, May 9, 2016. She was the loving wife of the late Robert Carroll Felter who passed in 1987.
Born on October 3, 1935 she was a daughter of the late John N. and Muzetta M. Jones. Joyce was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church where she enjoyed volunteering her time to clean the church and where she was a caregiver to others and planted flowers. She enjoyed taking photos; photos of simple treasures were her favorite. Spending time with her friends and extended church family was important to her. Joyce’s proudest moments were with her children and grandchildren. Her last words amplified her love for her family, “if tomorrow is the last morning that I have and the last breath that I take, I am happy; happy to have been a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.”

Cheryl Idzi and her husband Stephen of Willis, TX
Michael Felter of Hagerstown, MD
Cindy Felter of Dundalk, MD
John Felter and his wife Jessica of Pylesville, MD
Nine grandchildren-
Rebecca, Regina, Laura, Michael, Crystal, Kayla, Blake, Ashly, and Sadie
Twelve great grandchildren

A graveside service will take place on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 12:00 noon in Slateville Cemetery, 308 Slateville, Rd. Delta, PA.
Reverend Dr. Kenneth Cademartori, pastor of the Friendship Baptist Church in Stewartstown, will officiate.
Immediately following graveside service all are invited to a celebration of life gathering at Friendship Baptist Church, 14874 Winterstown Road, Stewartstown, PA 17363.
