Life Story for Jerome John Zamostny

Jerome John  Zamostny
JEROME JOHN ZAMOSTNY, age 55 years of Delta, PA died on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. He was the husband of Katherine (Boyd) Zamostny. They observed their 6th. wedding anniversary on June 21, 2015.

Jerry was born in Baltimore on December 2, 1960, a son of the late Jerome Joseph and Bridget Mary (DiLeonardi) Zamostny. Jerry worked as a Addictions Counselor at Father Martin’s Ashley and was active in local recovery groups for NA and AA. He was a talented musician and played lead guitar in local "hair" bands in 1980's. Jerry also enjoyed propagating Japanese Maples and collecting shipwreck coins. He loved his dogs and parrots, but most of all he loved his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by:
One son, Jerome Jason Zamostny and his wife, Valerie of Brooklyn, MD

Two sisters, Maria Wagner of Linthicum, MD
Catherine Lindstrom of Eldersburg, MD

One brother, Joseph Zamostny of Pasadena, MD

Three grandchildren, Lyric, Roman and Zailee

Friends may call at the Highland Presbyterian Church, 701 Highland Road, Street, MD 21154 on Sunday, May 15 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will begin at 4:00 p.m.

Officiating will be Pastor Raymond R. Meute, the interim pastor, and Reverend John V. Carlson, the retired pastor.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Highland Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, 701 Highland Road, Street, MD 21154 would be appreciated.
