Melvin will certainly be missed at PNC Bank in Whiteford. He was always quick with a story, an opinion, and a smile. He was a good man. I always enjoyed talking with him. Heaven has gained a very special angel! Rest easy my friend.
Heather Cochran and all of your friends at The Mill of Whiteford
From the first day you walked in the door you spoke as if you had known all of us for years. Your stories you put into words that left us wanting more, maybe we knew some were given a bit more life but you made them something we couldnt wait to hear more of. You had a gift. Your heart was as big as any of the stories. You would go to the orchard and give us a sampling of whatever you bought. We will never forget the many pigs ears you would purchase for your canine friends. Our pig ear bin is now a little full since you left us. I know the last time you came in was a struggle for you, but I also know from the bottom of my heart that you came to say goodby. I know it brought a tear to Edwinnas eyes and you touched our hearts that day more than ever. I know that we all are glad that you are beyond the pain and can now breath easy. What a wonderful person who always had a comment, an opinion but most of all a smile and a warm heart for all. You will be missed greatly by all of us but never forgotten. You will always be part of our family at The Mill.
You were quite a character and a wonderful neighbor. My condolences to the Crowl family. May you find comfort knowing he is without pain and in God's great forest now.

I am so sorry to hear of Melvin's passing. My cousin whom I grew up with, I have many memories of you, Melvin, mostly as kids playing together. As we got older we kind of drifted apart but I never forgot you. You were a good man and a hard worker, kind to everybody that you met. A very special person and I will miss you. RIP Melvin, may God bless you.
