Brother Jim & I had a wonderful adventurous childhood together. We loved to explore other neighborhoods, woods, swamps, abandoned homes. Jumping the back of street cars we went to the Baltimore inner harbor long before it became a tourist attraction. I remember us marveling at and playing imagination as we viewing masts of sunken tall ships. Then there was the WWII concrete merchant marine victory ship empty hulks beached up inlets. I shall never forget our shear terror being caught in storm while sneaking a sail with an older boy crossing the Chesapeake bay.
