Life Story for Jane A. Williams
JANE A. WILLIAMS, 96 years of Delta, PA, died on Friday, February 17, 2017 in York Hospital. Married to John Russell Williams, they had shared 72 years of marriage at the time of his death in October 2013.
Born on March 29, 1920 in Peach Bottom Township, PA, she was a daughter of the late Edwin H. and Pauline C. (Smith) Ailes and a lifetime resident of lower York County. Mrs. Williams attended Valley School, was a 1938 graduate of the former Delta High School and had worked for many years as a postal employee for the Delta Post Office. She was a lifetime member of the Delta-Cardiff V.F.C. Ladies Auxiliary and had served as secretary and treasurer. In addition, she was a longtime member of the Maryland State Fire Association Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Williams was known for having a very easy going personality.
She is survived by:

J. Richard Williams and his wife, Jenalyn of Delta, PA
James R. Williams and his wife, Charlene of Delta, PA
Two brothers-
William Ailes and Joseph Ailes
Six grandchildren-
Craig, John and Richard Parthree

Seven great grandchildren- Jessica Jeddry, Lesley Carter, Karisa Thompson, Carley Parthree, Payton Long, Harper Long and Jace Williams.
Two great-great grandsons- Ryley and Liam Jeddry
She was preceded in death by siblings: Edwin Ailes, Isabel Kline and Mildred Stewart.
Services will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA with a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. followed immediately with the funeral service. Funeral staff will be outside during all services to assist with parking as well as handicap needs.
Interment will be in Slateville Cemetery, Delta, PA.
