Condolences

Condolence From: pat white
Condolence: My husband met John many years ago quite by chance and what respect they found for each other was fantastic. Cars originally brought them together, but they found they had the same political views and moral values, etc. Although John was Ford inspired and Norm a Chevy man they both knew the other one's ability and knowledge and admired it. I used to take them home canned goods for the Christmas season and they greatly appreciated it. Barbara wrote the most beautiful thank you note that I almost felt the need to thank her for that. Great people. Loved them a bunch.

Condolence: None like my buddy John, he lived a good life and will be missed. Wish I was more in tune with the times as I missed the funeral. Good hearted man, from a generation we should all look to emulate.

Condolence: Mr John Owad will be greatly missed by many from the Woodbine Believers Assembly where he could be found every Sunday morning. He loved his garden and enjoyed sharing the beautiful produce he grew. He always had a good word and a smile for me. I loved hearing his stories. My brother-in-law, who is very handy, was amazed at Mr Owad's elevator and sling that he devised for Ms Barbara. May God bless and comfort his family and friends. You're all in my prayers.

Condolence: My heart-felt sympathy and prayers to the family. May God be with you and carry you through this time. John was a wonderful man with a "BIG" heart. I enjoyed listening to his stories and riding around in his old cars. I'll never forget the day John offered to let me drive one of his cars to an antique car show. John always had a smile to share and kind words for everyone he spoke with. Heaven has gained another angel.

Condolence: I really loved John, loved listening to his stories, and loved talking cars. Condolances are for the family, though, and my Dad was a lot like John, and it was hard listening to people I didn't even know talk about how good he was to them. To Barbara, Linda, John, and Connie, I know what mixed emotions this ocassion brings and you have my prayers.

Condolence: We will miss Mr. John. Many happy memories of working on flathead engine for our 1941 Ford coupe, visiting both he and Barbara, sitting on buckets down in the garage and talking, and all the car shows where we sat together. Thank you Mr. John for your service to our country.
