Ah...what a lady!
Having been a teacher, I know the joy of being in a classroom. Mrs. Kerr shared that joy with almost all of us. She was such a connected teacher. Her examples and her ability to help us create a realistic vision of the skills she was trying to develop in us were nothing short of exemplary. She was also the best dressed farmer I ever knew. I remember her tailored dresses and high heels as high fashion for duck farmers. In later years, when we met as adults, I was impressed with the way she still had that spark that made our connection a happy time. Even when she was at rehab, she was making jokes and plodding away at her tasks. She was a remarkable woman.
