Obituary for Guy O. Carder

Guy O.  Carder
GUY O. CARDER, age 57 years of Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania died at 8:40 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Hospice & Community Care in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
He was the husband of Michele (Serge) Carder. They observed their 24th. wedding anniversary on August 27, 2012.

Guy was born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 21, 1955, a son of the late Aubrey F. and Geneva (Wilson) Carder. A resident of Fawn Grove since 1990, he was an electrician by trade and worked through the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers #24, Baltimore. Guy was a talented musician who played the guitar, bass and drums. He had attended art school and enjoyed painting, also.
Guy was a loving husband, father and grandfather and is described as a selfless person who put the needs of others before those of his own.
He was a member of the New Covenant Community Church, Delta and had a very strong faith which sustained him throughout his illness.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by:
Four sons: Nick, Tony, Jonathan and Daniel
One brother: Aubrey Carder of Georgetown, Delaware
Four grandchildren: Keaten, Adriana, Ella and Nicky III

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 23 at 11:00 a.m. at the New Covenant Community Church, 284 Slab Road, Delta, PA 17314

His pastor, Reverend Lanny D. Kilgore and Reverend James A. Baldwin of the Woodbine Believers Assembly will officiate.

Interment will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Whiteford, Maryland with Reverend Timothy Hodge of Liberty Christian Center officiating.

Contributions may be made to the New Covenant Community Church at the above address.
